|It's been so long since my last wedding post... but it has been worth the wait! I couldn't help but share all the beautiful colours and details from Rose and Heath's wedding they are just beautiful.|
I loved the vision that Rose had for her wedding and kept the whole look looking young and fresh. The hair was twisted and then pulled back and secured with pins. The makeup was also kept really natural using a palette of browns with a slight liner on the top and finished off with a gloss. The girls got to choose a different look for their hair which worked really well as the dresses were all different also. This was such a fun wedding from the moment we stepped into Rose's Mum's home. Thank you for making us feel welcome. I hope you all love the images. A Huge Thank you to Stef Driscoll who photographed this wedding and for allowing me to share this wedding with you all... it was worth waiting for.

I hope that you had a Festive Christmas and a Happy start to the New Year. I thought I would start a post for 2013 with a sneak peak at a photo shoot I did the other day with my stunning model Claire who was one of my Brides in December. I have been playing around a little with a few soft looks as everything is marrying well with more unstructured looking styles that compliment the sort of dresses that you are all buying. Hair seems to be less quaffed and more organic looking... not for everyone but I just thought I would share and show you a version of how to wear this with this head piece that I borrowed from Erin at The Bridal Atelier for this shoot. I have a whole post to show you... I know you will LOVE it!
Hair was put in hot rollers and fell as the day progressed. The makeup used was MAC face and body mixed with studio fix, I did this because this photo shoot was done on that 40 degree + day and I needed something that was not going to move on the skin. On Claire's eyes I used a palette of browns and then used a black gel liner and smudged out the line to not make it look so harsh. I also used a little liner on the water line then softened that with a cotton bud to avoid it looking too dark... and to finish this look, a hint of blush and a shade of pink on the lip. Thank you to my beautiful model Claire , I look forward to our next shoot I promise no more 40 degree days :)))) and to The Bridal Atelier for this lovely hair piece.

|I had the pleasure of doing hair and makeup for Rebecca Share Milliner's 2012 collection .The beautiful photography was done by Meaghan Cook. Here are just a couple of hats, if you would like to see more have a look at Rebecca's entire collection of hats for 2012 .|
Hair-The hair on both Sarah and Larni was really long and Rebecca wanted a classic curled bob look so it was set in rollers then rolled up the back of the nape and secured with quite a few pins.Looks like they had a really big haircut without losing the length.
Makeup-The makeup that I applied was a natural day makeup.Using a palette of greys on the socket area only then a liner was smudged on the top keeping under the eye very clean. The cheek was ever so subtle with a very slight coverage of powder blush followed by a nude lip.

Belinda and I have a very special travel love for Bali so when we both get back from our yearly trips we exchange what restaurants to try or a new she maker that's fantastic or great silver store...So every time I wonder this might be it Daniel might propose this time and every time I think he'll do it next time...so after what ten years I don't know it feels that long,I thought...mmmmm.
I think the Monday morning after he finally popped the question over a weekend Belinda emailed me and booked me.
The day finally arrived it was really wet outside but that didn't dampen her mood she was getting married and in the morning while Peta(makeup artist) and I looked after the girls hair and makeup Dot (Belinda's Mum) was feeding us her fabulous chicken sandwiches and cups of tea and bringing out photo albums from her wedding to Belinda's Dad (George) and receipts that she still kept of the their wedding many many years ago,it was so lovely...and the veil that Belinda is wearing was Dot's when she walked down the isle how special...
Thank you for choosing me to look after you on your special day and also for my enormous bunch of flowers that were left at my doorstep the other week they lasted forever...my Thank you card is sitting on my kitchen bench and I look at it every day and remember your special day.I am actually a bit of a hoarder when it comes to Thank you cards actually any card that someone has sent me and taken the time to choose for me and spent the time to write the words...they mean more than anything. The words mean everything. In this digital age where a txt or facebook comment or email is what people only know of...I still choose the card. It's very special.Thank you.

Belinda's look- The hair was grown for the wedding to wear in a very sleek donut.Padding was used to give the fullness and the shape.Great style for any weather conditions because it's not going anywhere.
The makeup I used was by M.A.C.cosmetics starting with a light foundation a hint of pink on the cheek and a pink gloss on the lip.The eyes were made up with a strong brown on the socket only to match Belinda's chocolate eye color.
